There are three methods of data entry – make sure you have read the instructions before starting:
- Copy and paste a list – possibly the simplest method of data entry. Lists will be kept private until metadata are added and saved.
- Upload a CSV file – ensure that you use both a single grid reference and date, even if the exact locations and dates of capture vary. Otherwise the data will be seen as a number of discrete samples and analysed as such. Your sample will automatically be public to logged in users.
- Manually enter records– allows addition of species one at a time. Lists will be public to logged in users when saved.
